Cayucos Black Chevron Eco-Friendly Cotton & Jute Rug

$296.00 - $646.00

We had an overwhelming desire to name this range of eco-friendly cotton and jute rugs after towns along the coast of California. Cayucos is a hispanic version of the ancient Chumash word for kayak, the Chumash being the people who settled the town our rug is named after in 10,000 BC. Cayucos, the rug not the town, is made from a length of yarn knotted together to create a continuous strand and then hand-loomed into a hardy, double sided black and white chevron rug.

*Jute is a soft vegetable fibre that can be spun into strong threads that are used to make cloths such as hessian and burlap.
