Choosing the right rug is a meaningful decision, and we want you to feel confident in it. If it’s not quite right once it arrives, you’re welcome to return it within 30 days of delivery, and we’ll cover the return shipping.*

About This Rug
Edita Taupe Tribal Rug
Edita is a beautiful handwoven wool and hemp flatweave rug in a natural taupe colourway and intricately crafted tribal pattern, a gorgeous piece that features our Miss Amara Tribe collection. Made from natural wool and hemp fibres, Edita features an earthy colour palette with beautiful variations of soft taupe, ivory and the natural tan colour of the hemp fibres.
Embellished with a tribal-inspired pattern, this raised design provides a gorgeous element of texture to the rug, while the looped pearl stitch gives the look of an intricately embroidered cross stitch. This east meets west design would look right at home in a scandi inspired interior or adding a subtle tribal feel to a contemporary space.
The hemp and wool blend gives Edita a natural and soft underfoot feel, while the inherently strong and resilient qualities of these natural fibres make it a perfect way to add some high design aesthetic to those busy traffic areas of the home.
This product is lovingly handmade by skilled artisans and as such may encounter variations in pattern and colour which may vary from the images shown, this is entirely normal and part of the inherent nature of the production techniques. The size may also vary up to 5% in length and width due to natural variations in materials.
Natural shedding can be expected and this is normal. New wool rugs will shed lightly in the first few months and will be low-shed after this time. The shedding will lessen after the first 3-6 months depending on the level of use.

Use these practical guidelines to choose with confidence.
Living Room
Position your rug to frame the seating area as one considered zone. Place at least the front legs of your sofa and chairs on the rug to anchor the layout.
- Small: 160 × 230 cm
- Standard: 190 × 290 cm
- Large: 240 × 330 cm or 300 × 400 cm
Tip: Leave 20–30 cm between the rug and walls for an open, balanced look.
Bedroom
A rug introduces warmth and softness underfoot. Position it two-thirds under the bed, allowing it to extend beyond the sides and foot.
- Queen: 240 × 330 cm
- King: 300 × 400 cm
- Runners: 80 × 300 cm each side
Tip: Extend at least 50 cm beyond each side for a layered, hotel-inspired look.
Dining Room
Your rug should sit fully beneath the table and chairs, even when chairs are pulled out.
