1. How to Enter

Information on the “Buy Your Rug. Win It Back.” Promotion, including how to enter and details of the prize, forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. To enter the Promotion, you must, during the Promotion Period:

1. complete and submit the official “Buy Your Rug. Win It Back.” competition entry form available via the pop-up on the Website, providing your:
   a. first name; and
   b. valid email address; and
   
   

2. make an Eligible Purchase from Miss Amara during the Promotion Period using the same email address provided when entering the Promotion.
   
   

You may complete the competition entry form before or after making your Eligible Purchase, provided that both the entry and Eligible Purchase are made during the Promotion Period.

No additional payment is required to enter the Promotion other than the normal purchase price of an Eligible Purchase.

2. Promoter

The promoter is Miss Amara Pty Ltd (ABN 52 600 106 670), Unit 3B / 54-70 Ferndell Street, South Granville NSW 2142, Australia 

3. Eligibility

The Promotion is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand who are aged 18 years or over.

Directors, management and employees of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate and agencies directly associated with the Promotion, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.

4. Promotion Period

The Promotion commences at 12:00am AEST on 1 September 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 4 October 2026.

All entries and Eligible Purchases must be made during the Promotion Period.

5. Eligible Purchase

An “Eligible Purchase” means the purchase of at least one Miss Amara rug made through the applicable Australian or New Zealand Miss Amara Website during the Promotion Period.

The Eligible Purchase must be successfully completed and associated with the same email address provided with the competition entry.

The following do not constitute an Eligible Purchase:

a. gift cards;
b. delivery charges;
c. underlays;
d. accessories; and
e. any other products that are not rugs.

We reserve the right to exclude particular Products or categories from the Promotion where this is expressly stated on the Website.

6. Valid Entry

Submitting the competition entry form does not, by itself, make you eligible to win the prize.

To be eligible for the draw, you must:

a. submit a valid competition entry during the Promotion Period; and
b. make an Eligible Purchase during the Promotion Period using the same email address provided with your competition entry.

We will use our competition entry records together with our order records to determine the pool of valid eligible entries.

7. Multiple Entries

Entrants may enter the Promotion multiple times during the Promotion Period.

Each separate Eligible Purchase made during the Promotion Period using the same email address provided in the competition entry form will constitute one (1) entry into the draw.

There is no limit to the number of entries an eligible entrant may receive during the Promotion Period, provided each entry is supported by a separate Eligible Purchase.

For example, an entrant who makes three separate Eligible Purchases during the Promotion Period using the same email address will receive three entries into the draw.

Entrants are only required to complete the competition entry form once. The Promoter will match the email address provided on the competition entry form against eligible Miss Amara purchases made during the Promotion Period and allocate one entry for each separate Eligible Purchase.

Multiple eligible rugs purchased within a single order will constitute one Eligible Purchase and one entry into the draw.

Cancelled or fully refunded orders will not constitute an Eligible Purchase and will not receive an entry.

8. Prize

There is one (1) prize to be won across Australia and New Zealand.

The winner will receive a cash prize equal to the amount actually paid for the highest-value Eligible Purchase of a Miss Amara rug made by the winner during the Promotion Period, after any applicable discounts, promotional codes or other price reductions have been applied.

Delivery charges, underlays, accessories, gift cards and any other non-eligible Products or charges are excluded when calculating the prize value.

The maximum prize value is AUD $2,500, or the equivalent value in New Zealand dollars for a winner residing in New Zealand.

For a New Zealand winner, the prize value will be converted from AUD to NZD using a reasonable prevailing exchange rate selected by the Promoter on the date of the draw.

The prize will be paid by electronic funds transfer to an Australian or New Zealand bank account nominated by the verified winner.

The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be transferred to another person.

9. Draw

The Promotion is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.

Following the end of the Promotion Period, we will identify all entries that meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions.

One (1) winner will then be selected at random from all valid eligible entries.

The draw will take place at 12:00pm AEST on Sunday 5 October 2026 at:

The first valid entry randomly selected will be the provisional winner, subject to verification in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

10. Winner Verification

Before awarding the prize, we will verify that the provisional winner:

a. is an eligible resident of Australia or New Zealand and is aged 18 years or over;
b. submitted a valid competition entry during the Promotion Period;
c. made an Eligible Purchase during the Promotion Period;
d. used the same email address for their competition entry and Eligible Purchase; and
e. has not cancelled or received a full refund for their qualifying Eligible Purchase.

We may request reasonable proof of identity, age, residency or purchase before awarding the prize.

If the provisional winner does not satisfy the eligibility requirements, their entry will be deemed invalid and the prize will be dealt with in accordance with the redraw provisions below.

11. Returns and Cancellations

If your only Eligible Purchase is cancelled or fully refunded before winner verification, you will no longer be eligible to win the prize.

If you have made multiple Eligible Purchases and subsequently return one or more rugs, the prize will be calculated based on the highest-value Eligible Purchase retained by you.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes your rights under applicable consumer law.

12. Winner Notification

The winner will be notified by email using the email address provided with their competition entry within two (2) business days of the draw.

We will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner.

The winner's details will also be published where required by applicable Australian or New Zealand law.

13. Unclaimed Prize and Redraw

If the winner cannot be contacted, does not claim the prize within the period specified by the Promoter, fails to provide information reasonably requested for verification, or is otherwise found to be ineligible, the Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.

The unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12:00pm AEST on 5 October 2026.

The redraw will be conducted subject to any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

Any winner selected in a redraw will be contacted using the email address provided with their competition entry.

14. Verification and Invalid Entries

We reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who:

a. does not comply with these Terms and Conditions;
b. provides false, misleading, incomplete or fraudulent information;
c. attempts to manipulate or interfere with the entry or draw process; or
d. otherwise interferes with the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion.

We reserve the right to request reasonable information or documentation from an entrant where required to verify their eligibility.

15. Privacy

We collect personal information for the purposes of administering the Promotion, determining eligibility, contacting entrants and the winner, verifying purchases and awarding the prize.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Entering the Promotion does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive ongoing marketing communications from Miss Amara.

If you separately choose to receive marketing communications from Miss Amara, your personal information may also be used for those purposes in accordance with the consent provided and our Privacy Policy.

You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time. Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not affect your competition entry.

16. Technical Issues

We are not responsible for any technical failure, Website outage, network interruption, lost or delayed communication or other circumstance beyond our reasonable control that prevents or delays an entrant from submitting an entry.

We will take reasonable steps to conduct the Promotion fairly and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

17. Promoter's Rights

If the Promotion cannot be conducted as reasonably anticipated due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including technical failure, fraud, tampering or other causes, we reserve the right, subject to applicable laws and regulatory requirements, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion.

We will not exercise these rights other than where reasonably necessary in the circumstances.

18. Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law or applicable New Zealand consumer protection legislation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance or use of the prize, except to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Regulatory Requirements

The Promotion will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements in Australia and New Zealand.

Where any permit, authority, approval, notification or publication requirement applies, we will comply with that requirement.
