Choosing the right rug is a meaningful decision, and we want you to feel confident in it. If it’s not quite right once it arrives, you’re welcome to return it within 30 days of delivery, and we’ll cover the return shipping.*

Cabanela is a beautiful transitional washable and foldable rug featuring a traditional medallion design.
Cabanela is a bordered distressed style rug with elaborate motifs and ornate patterns in beige and cream tones. The beautiful design is printed on top of the fibres giving it a faded effect with a subtle vintage look. A timeless and elegant addition to a modern, classic, bohemian or vintage space.
Cabanela is machine-woven using modern looming techniques and is constructed from a plush 8mm pile of ultra soft polyester fibres. An absolute dream underfoot! It’s a washable and foldable rug, making it a perfect rug for medium-traffic zones, kid and pet-friendly homes.

Care and Flooring Suitability
Our Gel Dot backing is not suitable for slate, stone, concrete, or floors with underfloor heating, as it may transfer or leave marks on these surfaces. If you have one of these floor types, please use an underlay layer, which may help minimise the risk of transfer. Do not place on damp or wet flooring, and make sure the area is free from detergent or chemical residue before placing your rug down.
Stain Resistance and Cleaning
Cleaning results may vary depending on the type of stain. Blot spills promptly and wash by hand or machine as needed. Always check that your rug is machine-washable before proceeding.

Living Room
Position your rug to frame the seating area as one considered zone. Place at least the front legs of your sofa and chairs on the rug to anchor the layout.
- Small: 160 × 230 cm
- Standard: 190 × 290 cm
- Large: 240 × 330 cm or 300 × 400 cm
Tip: Leave 20–30 cm between the rug and walls for an open, balanced look.
Bedroom
A rug introduces warmth and softness underfoot. Position it two-thirds under the bed, allowing it to extend beyond the sides and foot.

- King: 300 × 400 cm
- Runners: 80 × 300 cm each side
Tip: Extend at least 50 cm beyond each side for a layered, hotel-inspired look.
Dining Room
Your rug should sit fully beneath the table and chairs, even when chairs are pulled out.
