Amalie has been crafted using a truly unique combination of traditional rug making techniques, showcasing the intricate workmanship of our skilled artisan rug makers.
Woven, looped and braided techniques have been used to stunning effect and together give the rug a gorgeous sense of movement and texture. Complemented by the modern marbled grey colour, this tactile design would be the perfect addition to the bedroom or lounge room to add a sense of warmth.
Amalie has been handwoven from beautiful natural wool with the addition of cotton for an extra soft, dense and natural underfoot feel. Luxury and warmth at its finest!
This product is lovingly handmade by skilled artisans and as such may encounter variations in pattern and colour which may vary from the images shown, this is entirely normal and part of the inherent nature of the production techniques. The size may also vary up to 5% in length and width due to natural variations in materials.
Natural shedding can be expected and this is normal. New wool rugs will shed lightly in the first few months and will be low-shed after this time. The shedding will lessen after the first 3-6 months depending on the level of use.

We love this rug, it's a beautiful grey and white and the different textures are soo attractive.
I wouldn't recommend having in a high traffic area though as the fibres do matt. I look after it very well and have the right vacume but as a family of only 3 in a very large home I thought it would be fine in our main area. More suited to a very low traffic spot.
