Callie has been hand-loomed in India from 80% eco-friendly jute and 20% PET fibres. Callie heroes the natural colour of jute with multi-tones of brown showing both light and dark shades. The perfect addition to a minimal, bohemian and coastal style space! The low-profile design makes it perfect for higher traffic areas and use under furniture.
This product is lovingly handmade by skilled artisans and as such may encounter variations in pattern and colour which may vary from the images shown, this is entirely normal and part of the inherent nature of the production techniques. This rig was purchase don behalf of my mother. She said it looks/feels great, however the smell that came with the rug is quite strong. We have bought jute rugs before and know well of the associations that come with it. But in this case she said it's overpoweringly strong. Has had to put it outside to air for a few days (difficult in rainy weather).
I'm really happy with the rug itself but it wasnt big enough for our space :-( so I'm going to take advantage of the free return process and get a larger one! Will update on that process! Thanks team.
Very disappointed to unwrap my esperance pink-braided round jute rug to see the colourings are nothing like the image provided. The pink is closer to orange and the jute is terribly dark. Such a shame for an online website who I always love to purchase off.
