Natural shedding can be expected and this is normal. New wool rugs will shed lightly in the first few months and will be low-shed after this time. The shedding will lessen after the first 3-6 months depending on the level of use.

This rug is STUNNING —so stunning, in fact, that it has singlehandedly turned me into the dictator of our living room. My partner calls it “The Forbidden Zone” because I have banned all snacks, drinks, and general human enjoyment from crossing its borders.
