Within a few short months of starting out the trio had successfully bought, renovated and sold our first property. Fast- forward to today and they have transformed loads of properties, amassed a gorgeous group of followers and learned more than they ever could have imagined. Talk about GOALS!

We sat down with the girls to see if we could pick up
a tip or two and
what we learned was

That we’re the mums next door. We have 9 kids between us and juggle raising them along with our busy jobs. We love a chat over a coffee or wine and do this regularly with our Reno School students on Facebook Live!

We love a range of styles but anything coastal definitely floats our boat. Think Hamptons, Mediterranean...

We love homes that are light, white and airy. Even if your home isn’t near the coast, it doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a coastal lifestyle. Check out Bonnie’s place, it’s miles from the coast but it’s not hard to imagine you’re at a coastal resort when you’re there.

The vision for Bonnie’s home was #moderncoastalbarn so this inspo also   carried into the master bedroom. We wanted the master to look and feel just like a suite at a coastal resort. A real retreat for Bon and her husband, away from their busy lives, with views of the garden and the swimming pool.

In terms of the styling, we used plush carpet, soft white linens on the four-poster bed and pops of gold like the feature walls sconces and cabinetry handles. It’s the epitome of luxe relaxation.

Look out for the gorgeous Alina rug taking pride of place in this dreamy neutral hued lounge. Can we please move in now??

There’s been a growing trend towards more natural eco-friendly materials used in both renovating and styling homes and we think that this will continue to strengthen in 2020 – which we’re very excited about!

You’ll see it in homes in the form of nature-inspired colour palettes, gorgeous materials like flax linens,
natural wool rugs, rattan furniture and sustainably sourced timbers.

  • A coat of crisp white paint can do wonders for any room. It might sound mad in a household with young kids (four boys in Bonnie’s case!) But as long as we use paint and linens that can be washed and wiped, white is actually a really forgiving choice.
  • Don’t be afraid to add texture! We incorporated texture and interests through cladding on the walls, plush rugs on the floor, lots of cushions and loads of candles.
  • Choose products by the way they make you feel, not necessarily by brand or price tag. After all, creating your dream home is all about how you want to feel when you’re living in the space.

What exciting things are there to look out for next from the amazing trio?

We’ve poured all that hard-earned knowledge into our online renovation course, The Reno School. We started out flipping houses and then reno’d our forever homes ... now we are wholly focused on inspiring and empowering women, anywhere in the world, to turn THEIR renovating dreams into REALITY.
